Herbs are not just beneficial to our skin but your furry friends’ too! This paw balm is great for your dog's skin, paws, ears, and nose. It can help chapped conditions all while protecting them from the elements.

The herbal allies in this balm are grown on our homestead, dried and then infused in oils for weeks so the oil will soak up all those herbal benefits. The mixture is then strained and mixed with beeswax to create this nourishing balm.

This balm contains healing Calendula similar to our First Aid salve but free of any essential oils so it is safe for furry friends and lick-safe.

Calendula is the ideal go-to for many minor first aid situations, including:

• insect bites

• bruises

• blisters

• cuts and scrapes

• burns

• dry, cracked skin

Calendula is used to keep wounds clean and help new tissue to grow. It can help relieve tenderness, redness, or inflammation at the site of the wound, support cell reproduction, and inhibit bacteria growth at the site of injury.

Calendula contains antibacterial agents which can help prevent secondary infection, which also helps boost healing. It's also very moisturizing, which makes it good for soothing dry, cracked, crusty paw pads and noses.
